1. Operator

This service is operated by ae Aeonian Engineering Limited, incorporated in Hong Kong, and backed by WIDE di D. Papa, Italy. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to these entities jointly.

2. Acceptance

By accessing this website or downloading Parta Runtime Lite, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept them, do not download or use the software.

3. Service description

runtime.parta.app provides a free download of Parta Runtime Lite, a portable local inference server executable. No account or registration is required to download or use it.

4. Software licence

Parta Runtime Lite is provided free of charge for use on your own hardware. You may copy and run the executable as distributed. You may not redistribute modified versions, remove attribution notices, or represent the software as your own. This licence does not extend to the full Parta platform, its identity layer, audit chain, or policy engine, none of which are included in Parta Runtime Lite.

5. Hardware and model files

Parta Runtime Lite requires compatible hardware to run (an NVIDIA GPU with a working driver for the CUDA build). You are responsible for sourcing and providing your own compatible model files in the required format. ae Aeonian Engineering Limited does not supply model files and makes no warranties regarding the performance, accuracy, or output of any model you choose to run with the software.

6. Intellectual property

All content, software, and architecture descriptions on this website and within Parta Runtime Lite are the exclusive property of Domenico Papa, WIDE di D. Papa, and ae Aeonian Engineering Limited, protected under applicable copyright, trade secret, and intellectual property law. Nothing on this website or in the software constitutes a licence, assignment, or transfer of any intellectual property rights beyond the limited right to use the executable as distributed under section 4.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the software for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary components of the software beyond what applicable law permits.
• Represent Parta Runtime Lite as being the full Parta platform or as including its identity, audit, or policy capabilities.
• Use the software in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair third-party infrastructure you connect it to.

8. No warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS LICENSED "AS-IS". YOU BEAR THE RISK OF USING IT. AE AEONIAN ENGINEERING LIMITED AND WIDE DI D. PAPA GIVE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES, OR CONDITIONS. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE EXCLUDE ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. This applies to the software, any model files you run with it, and any output the software generates.

9. Limitation of liability and disclaimer of responsibility

YOU CAN RECOVER NOTHING FROM AE AEONIAN ENGINEERING LIMITED OR WIDE DI D. PAPA FOR ANY LOSSES, DAMAGES, OR COSTS ARISING FROM YOUR DOWNLOAD, INSTALLATION, OR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE, AND EVEN IF WE KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. This limitation applies to any claim relating to the software itself, any hardware or system it runs on, any model file you supply, any output the software generates, and any use you make of that output, regardless of the legal theory the claim is based on.

The software is provided free of charge. We accept no payment for it and undertake no obligation of any kind, financial or otherwise, in connection with your use of it, its performance, or any consequence of that use. You are solely responsible for how you use the software and for any harm, loss, or damage that results from that use, to you or to any third party.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you in full. In that case, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by the law of that jurisdiction.

10. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. For users located in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence apply in addition.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website or software after changes constitutes acceptance.
